This attic started out as mostly a bare frame with a few pieces of beaver board thrown up here and there. We completely sheet rocked every wall and ceiling and installed new trim. We replaced the old windows that were allowing heat and cooling to escape all year. The railing was completely custom built. Carpet was added to the floor to turn this attic space into something very livable. The beams in the ceilings were cut and installed by us over the Sheetrock to give the impression of a vaulted ceiling. The railings and beams were given the same stain, and the spindles in the railing were painted in the trim color to give it a New England look.
