St Lukes Place Exterior in Montclair
This house is a great example of spraying aluminum or vinyl siding to save the coast of removal. The siding was a very unflattering yellow with brown trim. It was such a great house in a great location it deserved to stand up next to its neighboring homes. We gave it a 4 color scheme and this exterior came to life.

Bridge Restoration Erwin Park Montclair
This bridge was exposed to direct sunlight day in and day out. There was a tremendous amount of prep work that needed to be done in order to restore it. We used an Aura Exterior in a low luster finish. This premium paint has exceptional hide and coverage as it is a completely acrylic waterborne product. I was very pleased with the result.
Montville House
Classic deep colors were used to take advantage of the amount of light these rooms get. They also work well with the large stone chimney and hearth and complement the darker wooden trim. The vaulted ceiling becomes more dramatic in a Linen White with the contrast of the Hunter Green walls. The smaller attached room was done in a Ralph Lauren Hunting Coat Red and flowing from the larger room is able to accept a strong pallet because of its openings in 2 sides.
Prospect Ave Room Restoration in Montclair
This was another room that was completely skim coated to smooth out the walls and return them to there original beauty. The ceiling in the sun room was repaired and skimmed and all of the woodwork in the sun room was badly water damaged and was mostly stripped and restored. A room with this many great original double hung windows needs a lot of attention to detail when it comes to trim restoration. The french doors are a terrific architectural accent and now that they are painted in a classic semi gloss and have had the hardware rebuffed, you can see what they would have looked like when they were first installed, probably over 100 years ago. The muted gold color contrasts nicely with the off white trim and with all of the light the room gets it becomes very atmospheric. I hope to be posting before pictures very soon for all of these jobs.

Finish Pictures of Upper Montclair Interior Restorations
This particular project was an interior in a classic center hall colonial. The trim on the first floor was beautiful in shape, but was a very old provincial style finished wood. We restored everything and repaired it from walls to baseboards, windows and doors. It was all prepared as needed and given several coats of Satin Impervo in a Benjamin Moor "White Diamond". The result was striking. All of the woodwork popped against the vivid wall colors and the home still maintained it's classic early American feel. Some people are hesitant to paint over there stained woodwork, but in cases like this you can achieve a dramatic contrast to your walls and really brighten up a space. The walls and ceilings in the living room were totally skimmed and sanded to achieve the smoothest straightest result possible from original plaster work.
